This month we’re thrilled to introduce a new member of the Herd, Katie Kerrigan. A Senior Associate, Katie brings experience in public affairs, having worked for the DCI Group in Washington, D.C. During her time there, she worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 clients to help activate their communication campaigns to meet their strategic goals. She also interned on Capitol Hill and at the White House. While at James Madison University, she played on the women’s varsity lacrosse team. During her senior season, she played a vital role in helping the team capture the program’s first NCAA DI National Championship.
As a new member of the Herd, what excites you about joining the Herd?
What excites me the most is having an impact and helping all my client teams meet their strategic goals.
What did you do before joining Buffalo?
I worked at the DCI Group, a public affairs firm located in Washington, DC. I was in charge of helping clients meet their goals through strategic communication campaigns.
What you are most looking forward to in 2021?
I am looking forward to starting my new journey at Buffalo Agency, my wedding reception in June (had to postpone the party due to COVID-19), and my best friend’s wedding in July, which I am the Maid of Honor for. 2021 will be a busy yet exciting year!
What are a few of your favorite things to do outside of the office?
My favorite things to do outside work are working out (I am a huge Peloton and Orange Theory fanatic), spending time with friends and family, exploring new places and coaching lacrosse.
